You could always buy those reflective foils that cover the dashboard/windshield. Also, crack open the sun/moon roof if you have one !

leave the windows open, even a crack

you could get one of those reflective things to put behind the windscreen when you are out of the car. they block the sun from getting into the car. you can also get them for the side windows.
Reply:Keep parking in the shade whenever you can. Use reflective sun shades, in the front and back, and use those suction-cup roller shades on the side windows. Crack the windows a teeny bit. Enough to allow hot air to escape, but not enough to let someone access to your lock. Also, there's a product out now, I think it's a solar powered fan that sucks hot air out of your car. If you google it, I'm sure it'll come up. :). Sorry about your tapes :(, I've had that happen.
Reply:There are miniture fans, you can buy and put in your car to keep your car cool. They take little electricity, so they will not drain your battery. Also, you should buy a front windshield blocker, You can get one at walmart or any auto parts store. You put it up inside your car when you park to block the sun out. Just go into a auto parts store and they will show you where they are at .. they cost like 10 bucks.
Reply:buy one of these. http://sports-imports.stores.yahoo.net/s...
