I don't know what you mean by regular, but racing go karts can even break a hundred MPH. YES 100 MPH.

I would say no it depends wat tires and wat u drive on but I dout it because a regular gocart dose not go 20mph that is relly slow compared to a gocart I can get up to about 25 mph on my bike but on a bike thats fast so you could drift but not very good I had a gocart that could get up to 140 but I sold it and that could drift really good dam I loved it but I had to get rid of it
Reply:Ive Got a TKM Kart and you can Drift in that. A good technique i use when racing is to steer one way and quickly turn the other. This will throw the back end out and it will begin to slide but be careful because if you give it too much throttle you will spin. If you give it too little, the back end will straighten up. Also if you want a really good drift go out in the wet. IT'S GREAT FUN BUT REALLY DIFFICULT FOR BEGINNERS!!
