Didn't you write it was only 240 MPG few minutes ago?

And how can it go on mile per GALLON if it works on electric?

Hey do you work for the company???

good Luck...

Hey socrates.lancealot - I was just joking ... sorry to offend.

As much as I am a fan of Cabinscooters, and in discussing the Aptera I know its safe and all, I will pass on it.

It just lacks some sense of utility that you need for everyday running around for errands, getting dinner, going to the hardware store, etc.

Good concept though, and a good engineering exercise too.

I think it might be more fun and still cheap enough to ride around in a Dalnick.

Reply:Nice, they combined a bunch of good ideas. Shape like an airplane... trike... the 130 ultimate unassisted cruise MPG actually seems plausible.

They need to get real about MPG though. 300 is a claim that sounds like a lie. Realistically, PHEVs need to discuss plug-in range and after-depletion MPG separately, not make wild assumptions about the driver's driving patterns.

It might be just what America needs, but first Aptera needs to figure out what Tucker and DeLorean did not -- how to survive in the automobile business.
