Uh, i've seen this water powered car on TV since i was young. But although it does promise a revolutionary way of life, it has always been nothing more than a curiosity. Can anyone tell me, is this scientifically viable? And if yes, then why are we not all riding water powered cars? is this some sort of conspiracy?
Solution to 4$ a Gallon= Water Powered Car!?
Wouldn't a water powered car just be shifting the problem? Many areas have to "ration" water for non-essential things like watering grass already. Imagine the pressure it would put on the water supply if cars ran on water, too.

water powered car are at this point in time a myth. if they worked as advertised then there would be many on the road now, with the automakers building more everyday.
Reply:Don't confuse using WATER to spit it into hydrogen and oxygen and use that to STORE the energy and later use it as fuel (LEGIT), and the modern SCAM - spiting it and using it as CATALYST.
I studied CHEMISTRY in school and the science is ALL WRONG.

Even if you don't believe me- ask yourself this question: If these device really worked, why doesn't the car factories install them at the factory and sell more cars?
Good Luck....
Reply:Don't fall for these scams.
Now that gasoline has reached record high-prices, there are a huge number of scammers coming out of the woodwork and making ridiculous claims based on bad science.
These water-powered car schemes would have to defy the laws of thermodynamics to work -- and even the best scientific minds in the world agree that those laws remain intact.
It's not a conspiracy -- what would anyone have to gain by conspiring to suppress this already widely available information?
Toyota, GM, Ford and all the other major auto-makers spend billions every year trying to improve the fuel-efficiency of their engines so why would they not use this technology if it actually worked?
But what about all those folk who claim "it works, I increased my mileage by 40% after fitting one of these devices"??
Well it inevitably turns out that they are also selling kits or ebooks promoting this stuff. Of course they're going to say that it works, that's how they make their money -- by scamming people who are daft enough to believe their false claims.
For more information on just how ridiculous the "water powered car" systems being touted by these scammers really are, check out the link I've cited below.
