i want to know everything about cars,like how they run and operate,everything mechanically inside. i wanna have knowledge on cars because im gonna be starting projects on cars and their performance(racing cars)I just wanna learn the parts and what everything does in a car?It would help if someone would help me find a book on it or classes i can take?

Auto mechanics Fundamentals. Excelent book, it tells you everything from the theoretical view so you can understand how it came about to be that way.

Modern automotive technology that is the book we are currently using in my class. It breaks everything down by the systems one by one.Has a lot of information in it all you need is the hands on.Hope that helps.
