What's the difference between a moon roof and a sun roof?

I don't know. I've wondered about that before, too.

A moon roof is tinted glass that you can see through.





A sun roof is the solid material that opens completely ... no glass.
Reply:A sun roof opens all the way, retracting into the top of the car. The moon roof lifts up just a little, not opening fully.





I wondered the same thing for a while.
Reply:one can give you a bad case of SUN-cancer and the other can just give you a big SUN-burn.

A Moon Roof is a glass panel that slides completely open.





Many modern vehicles have combination roofs that do both.
