To renew a California drivers permit, do i have to re-do drivers ed or just retake the test or something else?

I believe you just have to take the permit test again, but you are allowed to only miss fewer than the than the maximum amount your were allowed to miss on the first time you took the test.





example: You might be able to miss 6 questions on the permit test the first time, and you will only be able to miss 4 on the re-take. (if that makes what I said before any less confusing)





That may not be true for your state, so it might be a good idea to call dmv and find out.
