Not a Question but a Comment?

With reference to an answer to a question regarding trucks delivering to individual Stores and markets. Back in the 50s, most stores had railroad spurs that were used to deliver freight to the stores. Trucks are only needed to pick up freight from the railroads and deliver to stores. Not long range trips. Trains are by far, more efficient than trucks when they transport the same amount of freight. Sooner or later, we are still going to have to use trains for most of our transport needs, this includes people too as the airlines shutdown from lack of fuel or the high cost. Reality bites folks.
