What does it mean for a car to have 1001-bhp V-16 turbocharged engine?

cuz thats what the Bugatti Veyron has.
What does it mean for a car to have 1001-bhp V-16 turbocharged engine?
1001 back wheel horse power. v refers to the shape of the cylinders, 16 cylinders.
What does it mean for a car to have 1001-bhp V-16 turbocharged engine?
The Veyron has a W16 not a V16 and it's Quad-Turboed not simply turbocharged.





1001 HP = HP number


W16 = 16 cylinders and they are arranged in a "W" form(2 V8s put side by side)


Quad-turbo = 4 turbochargers.
