For the GM ... you can`t look at Chevy ... due to political correctness they were always a day late dollar short (everybody else had a pony car in 64, Chevy... 67..., refused to win on Sunday sell on Monday etc) Buick ( luxury car market had them busy ... why rock the old guy boat... GS`s were nice) Oldsmobile (still being used as a test bed for the rest of GM) Caddy... (Buick syndrome x 10). This leaves Pontiac and a man named John Z DeLorean... the so called father of the GTO...
