i just got an 08 charger, but i don't go that often or far in it. my fiance is driving my truck to work and such. it's about 100 miles round trip. it's diesel and we are running it off a WVO mix. it smells like french fries, yes. but the MPG is almost exactly the same, and the truck is running smoother and quieter.
Reply:I have, along with a co-worker, two turtle top vans with about 260,000 miles that are about to crap out. No one in management seems to care that the AC is shot in both vans. Gas seems to be the least of their worries, as well.
Reply:Drive less, switch to a hybrid or electric. Nothing else we can do. Oil prices will only go up and up and up. Time to move on to alternative fuels or else you'll be one of the few paying over 5$ a gallon next year for gas.
Reply:We have actually started a mass e-mail campaign sending e-mails to everybody we know and asking them to do the same. The idea is to boycott the largest supplier in your area. Don't buy your gas from this supplier. Just go to another supplier. The problem is that the consumer has to intervene and at least do something but we never do. This is easy and if your biggest supplier is going a week without sales...it will sting. The government who receives political contributions from the oil companies will do NOTHING!. It's time we fight back and do this.
Reply:It must suck not being able to afford gas, but I can so I still drive my '67 camaro with 500hp and get 4mpg, its just money and until we take care of all those sand n.ig.g.a.r.s we are screwed!
