Is having your license plate in a picture bad?

I'm putting a picture of my car on Myspace but it has my license plate in the picture, is that bad? I notice when cars or on tv they blur out the license plate.

never,but never ,give more then enough information...deff. not..take another picture..plates reveal,address,all information about you and your car...............

Its mainly for privacy. News stations/TV Producers do not want to be responsible for inadvertently allowing someone to be harmed the misuse of a license plate number so they blur it out to protect the person's tag from being seen and protect the subject's privacy.

Reply:It only takes a minute to blur it, so better safe than sorry I suppose. On the other hand, you drive around with that same plate exposed to the world all day....
