I want to buy a go kart but i live in ohio. Is it legal to drive one one the street? Also do you have to be a certain age to drive it on the streets if it's legal?

A go-kart is not "street legal".........to run any motorized vehicle on the street it must at minimum have turn signals, mirrors, break lights, horn, registration and insurance.
Most states also require emission compliance and head lights and tail lights.
That is the reason so many 4-wheelers are not street legal.

You cant drive racing karts on the road but if you mean an off road go kart then the answer is yes but only if you have a valid drivers license and the kart MUST BE ROAD LEGAL and have number plates.
